Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a CAD Technician to assist with structural projects in our Monroe, MI office!
Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a CAD Technician to assist with structural projects in our Monroe, MI office!
Key Responsibilities
- Production Assistance in using CAD Platforms for multiple business sectors
- CAD / drafting for engineering support to produce detailed plans ready for construction
- Emphasis will be on bridge and structures but may also include various other civil site design projects
- Project assignments will predominately be from Michigan and Ohio, with additional other state assignments possible
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 8+ years of experience using AutoCAD and Open Roads Designer (MicroStation)
- MDOT and or MDOT LAP or Michigan Local Agency
- Experience in Bridge Design / Construction plan development
- Ability to stay organized and maintain accountability of project documentation
- Understanding or willingness to learn about client deadlines and requirements
