Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI), a leading power engineering consultant firm, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Madison, WI as drafters. The successful candidates will be responsible for drafting and design support to multiple design teams involved with conceptual, preliminary, and final design of station projects 34.5 kV through 345kV.
The successful candidates will perform a variety of assignments including design of substation physical drawings, substation electrical wiring and schematic diagrams, development of material lists, and other duties as determined by management staff.
Minimum Requirements: Proficient in AutoCAD and possess a strong computer aptitude in a Windows environment; MicroStation experience a plus. Successful applicants may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving will be required. Successful applicants are subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
