Calibration TechnicianPay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $26/hr
- Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (El Segundo, CA 90245)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment
Calibration Technician Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and perform adjustments on Measurement and Test Equipment, Electronic and/or Mechanical
- Use test automation platforms and software to calibrate Measurement and Test Equipment.
- Perform manual calibration procedures on Measurement and Test Equipment.
- Works on administrative assignments with clearly defined objectives according to prescribed procedures.
- Communicate with internal teams to request work orders with specific requirements.
- Communicate with external vendors to request service quotes and status requests.
- Communicate with customers for issue resolution and response.
- Physical movement of equipment up to 20 lbs.
- Solve a broad range of service/ support problems varying in scope and complexity.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years relevant experience.
- 2 year technical degree or equivalent training/certification is desired.
- May require some higher education or specialized training/ certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with database tracking and management systems.
- Hands-on experience working in a calibration lab required.
- Solid working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications including Outlook and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.
- Must maintain the ability to work in a team environment and provide responsive customer service to team members even with constant interruptions.
