Medical Call Center - OBGYN
Chevy Chase MD/Washington DC
Pay From: $19 Per Hour
MUST:
2+ years of solid medical office experience and comfortable working in a call center environment
Call Center experience or high volume phones a must
Experience registering patients
OBGYN experience preferred
Experience charting in Athena EMR
Comfortable working all phones in a call center environment
Experience working in a high volume multi provider practice (specialty preferred)
Strong scheduling experience
Experience entering information in EMR and updating records (Athena)
Ability to triage calls
Strong customer service support
DUTIES:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Answer high volume incoming calls
Schedule appointments
Register patients
Update and maintain patient's records
Triage phone calls
Answer questions over phone to determine where phone call should be transferred
Schedule appointments in the EMR system
Generate and complete pre-certification requests for appointments
Review upcoming schedules for accuracy
Handle complaints
