Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, designing, and developing telephony communication networks and Systems for residential and commercial subscribers.
- Plans, designs, and develops telephony communication network and systems for residential and commercial subscribers.
- This may include configurations, support/troubleshooting, and managing vendors and/or third party carriers.
- Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
- Ensures project completion within budget, schedule, and in accordance with requirements.
- Assists in the planning and development of the project scopes, procedures, budgets and overall project schedules.
- Establishes and controls the budget for project costs.
- Works with customer divisions and departments to obtain services and project requirements to achieve customer needs. Coordinates client contacts and maintains working relationships at all levels throughout the project.
- Monitors and controls contractual commitments to assure that all work is performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and terms of the subcontract.
- Ensures tasks are coordinated, schedules and budgets are maintained. Provides weekly reports to leadership team.
- Specific knowledge and application of process design and redesign skills.
- Extensive knowledge and application of program management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies.
- Detailed knowledge of engineering concepts and skills and their application in the area of engineering specialty.
- Coordinates with LMC Engineering to accept circuits from third party vendors. Assists LMC in meeting financial targets.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
