About The Role:
Haven Farm to Table is a fine dining artisan-crafted restaurant with a leading voice in the sustainable and regenerative farming food movement. Together with our farm, Fox Point Farm, we form a community, working to develop a local and ecological future of food. The dining room is our testing ground and space to showcase our produce and chefs' creations.
We have the following positions available:
Line cook -
The Line Cook will be responsible for assisting the restaurants lead Cooks and Chef de Cuisine Chef Kelston Moore, while supporting all aspects of main dining room service. You will deliver the culinary narrative that communicated our mission and vision to our guest, illustrating the link between regenerative farming and exciting flavor through each plate of food.

About You:

- Regulatory compliance: you adhere to cleanliness, health, and safety protocols, including knowledge of applicable fire, health, and safety codes (possession of a Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe Certification).
- Experience: 1 year experience in a restaurant environment, or equivalent knowledge and experience with commercial kitchen equipment and procedures and familiarity with advanced culinary techniques and diverse cooking methods is preferred.
Task may include:
- Assisting in the development, standardization and implementation of recipes and menu items.
- Helping with the creation of daily mise en place list.
- Checking ingredient quality and preparing and assembling ingredients and dishes.
- Collaborating closely with the front of the house team to ensure seamless execution of service and culinary R&D programs.
- Attending cook's meeting and tour trainings.
- Maintaining equipment, tools, and the physical workspace.
- Complying with all health department standards and practices and maintaining a clean and orderly environment at all times.
- Performing all other job-related duties. This position requires manual dexterity and the ability to follow oral/written instructions and procedures. To successfully perform duties, you must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

The Details:
- Compensation: $19-$27 plus tips
- Location & Hours: Full time and Part-time position at Haven Farm to Table.
- Shifts involve mandatory working evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
