Position Objective:
Float Technicians assist the Management Team in implementing all post-production operations, including packaging and labeling, inventory management, product safety, quality assurance/control, packaging, product transfers, and waste processing/reporting. Additional facility maintenance and sanitation assistance are required. Efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail are crucial in this position.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past ten years for a controlled substance-related felony.
- Must not be registered as a primary caregiver or withdraw registration as a registered primary caregiver before accepting an official Offer of Employment.
Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of the cannabis industry and the associated federal, state, and local municipal laws and regulations.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment in an efficient, accurate, and detail-oriented manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and working with a diverse team.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player.
- Qualified applicants have an aptitude for comprehending compliance and the ability to adhere to a regulatory framework by adhering to internal standard procedures as directed.

Duties and Expectations:
- Stay current and adhere to all relevant federal, MED, and municipal regulations.
- Encourage and maintain an environment of high integrity to optimize product quality, efficiency, and compliance
- Implement post-production best practices and standard procedures as communicated by the Management Team.
- Responsible for production support, including but not limited to inventory management, packaging and labeling, product transfers, quality assurance/control, sanitation, waste management, and facility maintenance.
- Must maintain a culture of professionalism at all times.
- Must work quickly and efficiently to maintain product quality and augment productivity.
- Exhibit consistent measuring/weighing, packaging, and labeling techniques, facilitating tracking and meeting production goals.
- Exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines the company and the state set forth while processing/packaging cannabis.
- Implement safe and compliant product storage and quality assurance/control strategies to combat cross-contamination as directed by the Management Team.
- Communicate inventory management, quality assurance/control, and post-production issues to the Management Team as needed.
- Assist the Management Team in identifying strategies to maximize available resources.
- Assist with the maintenance of post-production inventory management documentation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of MED, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA,) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA,) Worker Protection Standards (WPS,).
- Operate, clean, and store equipment safely and effectively as directed by the Management Team.
- Must maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Implement facility sanitation standards as directed by the Management Team.
- Assist with maintaining relevant facility records according to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Foster a positive and communicative work environment.
- Request continuing education as needed.
- Communicate resource and supply needs to the Management Team.
- Take actions consistent with the company’s overall strategy and values.
- Must adhere to the company’s stated Equality and Diversity and Drug-Free Workplace policies.
- Follow the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures following the company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
- Follow all company Crisis Response Procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
COMPENSATION
$18.50 to $20/ hour

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
NOBO Inc. operates in an office environment. Must be able to work in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels. Must be able to lift or leverage up to 25 pounds frequently. Must be able to sustain posture in a seated or standing position for prolonged periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines. Visual and color acuity are required for reading and interpreting legal and financial documents. Accommodations may be made for qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position.
EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK ACT (THE “ACT”), COLORADO REVISED STATUTES (“C.R.S.”)
NOBO will make reasonable efforts to announce, post or otherwise make known all opportunities for promotion to all current employees on the same calendar day and prior to making a promotion decision. No immediate promotion posting is required to fill a position on a temporary basis for up to six months where the hiring is not expected to be permanent, e.g., an acting or interim position. If the hire may become permanent, then the required portion posting must be made in time for employees to apply for the percent position.
Promotion posting requirements do not apply to NOBO employees entirely outside Colorado.
The compensation posting requirements do not apply to either (i) jobs to be performed entirely outside Colorado, or (ii) postings entirely outside Colorado.
