Job Summary
The Assistant Manager will be staff & customer focused with the proven ability to build, train, and motivate a high performing team and assist the GM maintain all aspects of daily operations.
The pay for this role is $48,000.00 - $50,000.00/annually DOE. This is a full time position that requires weekend availability.
Cannabis experience is highly preferred, with experience in Dutchie, Metrc and Weedmaps preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● This role requires the highest level of customer service and maintaining the store to our industry leading standards, leading by example with high integrity and excellent communication skills.
● Help GM run day-to-day dispensary activities and processes to ensure that operations run smoothly.
● Keep up to date on and ensure all local, state and Bureau of Cannabis Control regulations are maintained at all times
● Provide leadership in all departmental operations such as: cash management, inventory management, inventory auditing in the most effective and fully compliant manner.
● Working with GM to ensure training and supervising all departmental employees to ensure compliance with SOPs.
● All other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Ownership team.
● Audit all online menus and ensure the inventory team is fulfilling their duties.
● Schedule employee reviews, run weekly staff performance reports, monthly attendance reports.
Additioal Duties
● Cooperating with the general manager, and assisting with anything from project planning to staff management.
● Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
● Train, coach, and develop employees
● Addressing any issues in a timely fashion.
Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.
● Must be 21 years of age
● Must submit and pass a Department of Criminal Justice criminal background check (LiveScan) and any other background screening requirements
● General knowledge of cannabis products, paraphernalia, and industry trends
● Ability to manage a team in a highly regulated fast paced environment
● Experience with Microsoft Office,Tools (word/excel)Proficient computing skills
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● High level of integrity
● Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction
● Must be able to work weekends and some holidays
Education:
● Experience in high volume sales
● Experience with Greenbits POS and Metrc
Physical Requirements:
● Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
● Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time
● Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly.
● Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory restock, and store merchandising.
● Ability to carry boxes, products, and other necessary store related items.
● Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, maintain all areas of business including back stockroom, employee lunchroom, restrooms.
