CAP Supervisor - McNaughton-McKay Southeast, Inc.

General Summary: 
The purpose of the job is to supervise the operations of the regional CAP team and to provide support for CAP customers and operations.

Key Responsibilities: 
1.    Oversees the regional CAP operations.  
2.    Leads and influences the performance of the CAP team; actively listens and addresses employee and operational concerns; directs flow and schedule of work.
3.    Interviews and trains new employees, coaches and counsels employees, conducts annual performance evaluations and, if applicable, reports time worked for payroll processing.
4.    Participates in CAP sales calls with Account Managers; develops and facilitates sales presentations on site and at branch offices for customers and employees; coordinates the pricing of an agreement with the Account Manager.
5.    Completes the internal file set up of a new CAP account.
6.    Visits key CAP Customer Sites on a periodic basis to review inventory turns, seek new business, provide customer service follow up, and recommend or implement changes to an account set up.
7.    Handle day-to-day customer support activities for specific accounts.
8.    Leads monthly CAP Status Review meeting.
9.    Maintains supply of special materials for CAP Customers and for use by CAP Team
10.    Develops and maintains CAP processes and procedures.
11.    Supports the quality initiatives of the Region.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1.    Associate’s degree required; 2 years of applicable work experience considered in lieu of degree. 
2.    Working knowledge of warehouse operations, ordering and purchasing processes. 
3.    Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Word.  Strong business systems skills preferred.
4.    Must possess excellent communication, customer service, problem solving and time management skills and have the ability to work independently.  Proven leadership ability required.
5.    Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Reports To:     Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager or equivalent
Direct Reports:     On-Site Inventory Coordinator, CAP Coordinator

Working Conditions:  Varied:  Normal office, warehouse, and/or factory environment.
