Capital Projects Supervisor - CB3 - NM Job Description
A site Capital Project Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
•Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering degree preferred with 5+ years of relevant process and project engineering experience.
•Industrial plant experience in chemical processing preferred.
•Good communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).
•Good interpersonal and Conflict Resolution Skills with the ability to influence managers, peers, and maintenance team.
•Ability to utilize other software tools as appropriate SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint)

Capital Projects Supervisor - CB3 - NM Job Description
A site Capital Project Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Reports to site engineering manager
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and executing on the site annual CAPEX plan.
- Experience with managing capital project budgets of $5MM+
- Manage of team of 5+ project engineers
- Work with site engineering, operations & maintenance leadership to develop proposed annual capital project list.
- Train on and implement the project front end loading process and identify project phases and design requirements.
- Review and mentor on the developing project estimates including equipment, construction and commissioning cost.
- Assist with project financial analysis.
- Assist team with coordinating resources for Mechanical, Process & Electrical design with in-house and contracted resources.
- Maintains master project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and ensure adherence to the plan and schedule.
- Control monthly and annual CAPEX spend.
