Job Summary and Qualifications

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Captain with us:
- You will solve problems with the crew and crisis management.
- You will have Interagency requests or disputes (Fire department, hospital, etc.)
- You will last minute scheduling requests and coverage
- You will Coordination of operational shift needs (stocking, training, etc.)
- You will report of momentous events or occurrences needing follow up
- You will ensure a safe working environment for providers.
- You will shift paperwork needs – daily shift log, vehicle accident logs, work injury reports, incidentreports, etc.
- You will keep the Chief Paramedic up to date on issues, needs and status of their shift.
Position Requirements
- Driver License
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintains Insurable driving record.
- Current Colorado State Paramedic Certification or License.
- Colorado State EMD certification is preferred
- Current ACLS.
- Current National Registry Certification.
- Current CPR.
- Three years of advanced life support ambulance experience. A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirement.
