The Echocardiography Technologist is responsible for consistently performing high-quality Echocardiography exams according to the established protocols that meet department quality standards for both Inpatients and Outpatients. This position assists physicians with diagnostic procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms.

Requirements

• Associate degree preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography Program
• RDCS-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographeror CCI-Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• CPR required
• Position requiresWeekend and Holiday rotation with fellow sonographers. Additional hours available to meet the staffing needs of the department

One year experience in echocardiography is preferred; familiarity with Philips iE33 and McKesson Horizon Cardiology CPACs isa plus.
