We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Echocardiology to join our dynamic medical team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide top-notch patient care by utilizing your specialized skills and training in echocardiology. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Cardiac Sonographer, your primary duties will include:
1. Performing diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
2. Evaluating the anatomy and pathophysiology of the heart and related structures using specialized equipment and techniques.
3. Providing a summary of findings to the physicians to aid in patient diagnosis and management.
4. Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
5. Managing sonographic laboratory, patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, quality assessment, and quality control measures.
6. Collaborating with cardiologists and other medical professionals to develop diagnostic protocols.
7. Participating in departmental initiatives and staff training to ensure the highest level of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer with a focus on Echocardiology.
2. Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
3. Credentials in ARDMS Peds Echocardiology and ARDMS Adult Echocardiology.
4. Proficiency in the use of Diagnostic Ultrasound.
5. Completion of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
6. Excellent patient care and communication skills.
7. Ability to work well in a team and make decisions under pressure.
8. Strong technical and analytical skills.
9. Commitment to continuous education and professional growth.
