Your New Role: 

Position: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant 

Job Duration: Full Time/Permanent 

Setting: Outpatient Cardiology Clinic 

Schedule: 4 x 10 hr days, telephone call every 2 months or so  

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Cardiology required; must have an active California license 

Patient Population: 12+ patients per day, focusing solely on cardiac diagnoses

In this Role: 

As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will need to hit the ground running with confidence in Cardiology. Your duties will include seeing 12+ patients a day with cardiac diagnoses, reviewing pacemaker or defibrillator checks and developing treatment plans, referring patients for specialized cardiac procedures, evaluating patients for palliative care or hospice, and completing pre-op cardiac clearances. You will also be responsible for providing telephone call support as part of your on-call responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with other programs within the organization, including priority care clinic, immediate care, home care, and with PHARMD's, RN case managers, pharmacy techs, echo techs, MA, and schedulers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring comprehensive cardiac care and patient management.
