The University of Missouri’s School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, is expanding, and searching for a Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our growing radiology practice. This is an excellent career opportunity for candidates just starting their careers, as well as experienced candidates to join a thriving academic radiology department. 

Our Clinical Model 

Faculty in our Cardiothoracic Division have responsibilities in cardiopulmonary radiology, including conventional radiographs with a full complement of advanced imaging, including CT and MRI.. Our Cardiothoracic radiologists enjoy very collaborative relationships with referring providers and participate in multidisciplinary conferences.

• Responsibilities are:  
  • Expected mix of teaching to clinical work:  
    • ~80% Clinical 
    • ~10% Teaching/Education 
    • ~10% Administration
  • Teaching 
    • ~75% of the time spent overreading residents & fellows  
• Expected schedule:
  • Onsite, Remote, Hybrid Remote, or Part-Time opportunities available
  • Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM 
  • ½ - 1 day per week for administrative time 
• Expected call schedule 
  • ~Every 6 weeks 
    • McKesson PACS, PowerscribeOne for Dictation
      • Cerner EMR  
• Equipment 
  • Siemens: Mix of 1.5 and 3T MRI scanners 
• Compensation Structure
  • Base salary + Incentive
  • Competitive total compensation package
  • Early hiring incentives available for those just starting or finishing fellowship

• MD/DO 
• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Radiology 
• Fellowship-Trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology 

• Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with training, current academic productivity, and experience
