Cardiovascular Surgeon, Brown Academic Appointment, Research Opportunities Available - Lifespan Health System

Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital affiliated partners of Brown University are recruiting an adult cardiac surgeon to join a group of 4 cardiac surgeons academic cardiac surgery program. A thoracic training program is under development.  Research opportunities, in collaboration with NIH NHLBI Investigator and past Chief, Professor Frank Sellke or independently, is available.

About the job:

• The group performs all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, except heart transplantation
• 500+ pump cases and 350 TAVR are performed annually
• Opportunity exists in coronary, valve and aortic surgery to complement senior surgeons in each of these areas
• Applicants will be eligible for an assistant or associate professorship
• PSLF Eligible
• Midlevel support and administrative support
• Dedicated Cardiac Anesthesia support
