The Opportunity:
The Cardlock Sales Rep generates new business, manages existing book of business and creates profitable new business partnerships
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire new business relationship, including prospecting, cold calls, lead generation, creating opportunities, closing business deals, and realizing the customer’s initial purchases
- Manage and retain current book of business to strengthen relationships and create new organic growth
- Manage the new account set up process, interfacing with Credit, Billing, Account Management and Customer Service team members to establish a seamless customer onboarding experience
- Compile weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information. Update and maintain a database with accurate customer account information, along with all business activities and communication
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Requirements:
- Preferred knowledge of fuel card industry
- Working knowledge of the trucking and logistics industry or fuel related industry preferred
- Requires strong teamwork and flexibility
- Requires knowledge of Sales Force CRM programs and Microsoft Office Products
