As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of others. Your duties will include assisting with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and grooming, medication reminders, preparing meals, and providing companionship. Additionally, you will help with light housekeeping duties and transport clients to appointments or social outings.
To excel in this role, you should be empathetic, patient, and have excellent communication skills. It is essential that you have a genuine passion for helping others and are committed to providing the highest standard of care. Previous experience in a caregiving role or a related field is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who possesses the right qualities and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Cell phone with internet access
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
- Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
- Proof of Negative TB results
- Must be comfortable providing care to male clients!
