Homestead manages a senior living facility in Oak Park, MI
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at our Senior Living Facility in Oak Park. This is a part time position, 2pm-10pm, every other weekend is required.
We do not have midnight shifts at this building. We are starting our caregivers at $15.

Exciting responsibilities await you:
- Assisting with care needs, specifically but not limited to: dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting
- Laundry and meal prep
- Passing medications following physicians orders
- Light housekeeping as needed
- Engage the residents, encouraging involvement within the community
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which includes light housekeeping
- Assess for change in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor
- Complete all required documents and charting
- Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services and coworkers
- Assist other team members with their duties
- Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements we ask of you:
- Serious applicants only
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with the elderly, preferred
- Must be 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Every other weekend is required
- A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift
