As a Caregiver, You Will:

• Promote the health and well-being of every resident
• Provide direct care to residents, focusing on their highest level of functioning
• Assist in maintaining a safe and neat environment for residents, in accordance with facility standards and State and Federal Regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Compassion for and a desire to work with seniors, especially those with dementia
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must meet all health requirements, including health screening, drug test, and TB clearance
• Must pass a drug screen, state-required fingerprinting, and criminal background check
• First Aid certification

Preferred:

• 1 year of caregiving experience
