Position Overview
Faithful Home Care Solutions is currently seeking a Caregiver Supervisor who is attentive, organized, friendly and has experience in a caregiving supervisory role. The caregiver supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the work of our caregivers and ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong understanding of the needs of our clients. The caregiver supervisor will work collaboratively with our team to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for our clients. Additionally, the candidate must be attentive to detail and able to identify potential issues before they become problems. The caregiver supervisor will play a key role in maintaining a positive working relationship with our clients and their families, as well as with our caregivers.
Responsibilities
Conducting "meet and greet" sessions with clients and caregivers to establish rapport and ensure compatibility.
Providing comprehensive caregiver training, including job-specific skills, and ongoing professional development.
Creating and managing caregiver schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all clients' needs.
Conduct 90-day and annual performance evaluations for caregivers, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of caregiver work, client interactions, and any incidents or concerns.
Regularly communicate with clients and their families to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and make necessary adjustments to the care plan. Create care plans accordingly.
Driving to make deliveries, such as medical supplies or equipment, as needed to support the client.
- Work in tandem with the other caregiver supervisor to ensure effective coordination of caregiving schedules and tasks. When the schedule is not full, you will offer additional support to other tasks.
Fill-In Caregiving Duties
Be available for occasional fill-in caregiving duties during peak times or to cover unexpected caregiver absences.
Provide direct caregiving support, ensuring that clients receive compassionate care that aligns with the agency's standards.
Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs and unforeseen caregiving gaps.
Inform staff of call-outs and schedule changes.
Other Marketing Duties
Devise and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients, collaborating with the management team to enhance the agency's visibility.
Conduct cold calls that meet weekly KPI’s.
Actively engage in community outreach, participate in promotional events, and foster relationships with potential clients.
Assist with the client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients into the agency's care.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a caregiving supervisory role, preferably within a home health or similar setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with caregivers, clients, and their families.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle scheduling, documentation, and coordination tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to fulfill delivery requirements.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred, showcasing a commitment to maintaining a safe and responsive caregiving environment.
Demonstrated flexibility in taking on fill-in caregiving duties, ensuring a seamless and high standard of care during peak times or unforeseen absences.
Prior experience in collaborative work settings, highlighting the ability to work harmoniously with a co-supervisor to divide responsibilities and provide mutual support.
A commitment to continuous learning and cross-training to enhance versatility within the caregiving team.
Proven experience in marketing and onboarding, with a track record of successful client acquisition and relationship building.
