We are seeking a Floor Supervisor who is hospitality focused, results-driven and who will positively impact the people and guest experience in our restaurants. This role will give you an opportunity to be hand on and interact with our wonderful guests and work with great people. As a shift supervisor, your primary responsibility is ensuring that the service on the floor is running smoothly and efficiently and our guests are having the ultimate dining experience; being an active participant in quality of service and consistently improving sales throughout your shift, much of your time will be spent on the floor focusing on the most important area- our guests! Your Role with Us:
- Set the stage by ensuring we are delivering excellent hospitality, great guest experiences by visiting every table throughout the shift, building relationships, learning of feedback before there are issues, and informing our guests of more opportunities to dine with us (Special events, catering, take out, or our sister restaurants).
- Supporting the team to ensure they are offering the best service; making sure all the steps of service are being met throughout the day.
- Verifying quote times at the greet stand and service greet times once people are sat and ensuring drinks are going out quickly and correctly.
- Touching base with the chef on any potential challenges, allergies, etc.
- Consulting with salaried management for all difficult guest interactions: cutting people off, unhappy guests after initial table visit, irate or extremely upset guests, etc.
- Discussing with salaried management and sitting in with them on any team member follow up and post shift follow up related to disciplinary issues, guest complaints, performance related discussions, etc.
- Conferring with salaried managers to make decisions on labor control, cuts, etc. for the FOH and Kitchen
- Leaving feedback on scheduling levels and conferring with salaried managers to make decisions on any adjustments needed for scheduling on future shifts.
- Completion of all daily tasks listed on the manager's checklist.
We Are Looking for Candidates:
- With 3-5 years of restaurant experience in fast paced high-volume restaurants.
- With basic understanding of cleanliness standards in each area of the restaurant: greet stand, dining room, the bar, kitchen, restrooms, steward station, etc.
- Must have an outgoing personality with a welcoming presence on the dining room floor alongside excellent time management and organizational skills.
- With good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Who can display a passion for service and can exceed our guests needs.
- With excellent communication skills- verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests.
- Who are reliable, dependable, and guest and employee focused.
- With strong computer skills and knowledge of Aloha, Open Table, Excel, Word, and timekeeping software
- Who are fluent in English.
- With open flexibility to work various shifts.
