Join our dynamic team at Stonecast Products, a leader in the precast concrete industry. We specialize in designing and manufacturing high-quality concrete products for a wide range of construction projects. We are looking for skilled and dedicated carpenters to help us build the molds and forms necessary to create our concrete structures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble wooden and metal forms used to shape and reinforce precast concrete structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure precise and accurate mold construction.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials (e.g., wood, metal, plywood) to fabricate custom molds.
• Set up, align, and secure molds to meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure the proper placement of reinforcement bars and other structural components.
• Perform inspections of completed molds to identify and repair any imperfections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following company safety protocols.
• Operate power tools and hand tools required for carpentry tasks.
• Assist in the assembly, dismantling, and cleaning of molds after the casting process.
• Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Requirements:

• 5+ years carpentry experience; cabinetry is a plus.
• Familiarity of CNC programming is a plus.
• Ability to read architectural blueprints.
• Ability to cut accurate, complex, compound miters and copings.
• Possess an excellent eye for fine detail.
• Must be very precise and exact with measurements and cutting tools.
• Possess excellent basic math skills, including fractions and angles.
• Experience with a variety of carpentry tools, including a power miter saw, table saw, tape measure, square, angle gauge, chisels, router, band saw, planer, drill press, panel saw, belt sander, jig saw, joiner and shaper.
• Needs manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and physical ability to perform stated duties, including a good sense of balance.
• Has the ability to work long hours to meet scheduling demands when needed, including Saturdays.
• Maintain a positive attitude working as a team member of the mold shop supporting the needs of the production line.
• Willingness to take direction and learn the trade.
