About the position

We are looking for an energetic, detailed oriented, self-directed person to provide carpenter support.  

Functional Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Interpretation of plans and specification, 
• Wood framing, 
• Metal stud faming, 
• Acoustical ceiling installation, 
• Drywall hanging, 
• Hollow metal doors and frame installation, 
• Hang wood doors and install hardware, 
• Install millwork trim and cabinets, 
• Receive materials and off load in a safe and proficient fashion, 
• Assist and guide others to improve their skills and complete tasks in an expedient and safe manner, 
• Prepare to perform job related assignments at designated start time, 
• Perform daily tasks in a safe and workman like manner in accordance with company, client, and governing bodies’ policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Completed or currently enrolled in an approved apprenticeship program
• OSHA 10 hour certification
• 4+ years' experience 
• Valid State Driver's License
  
• Reliable transportation
• Good attendance and punctuality required
• Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other craftsmen
  
• Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand
• Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish
• Reliable Transportation to and from work
  
• Must Pass Drug and Background Checks
• Must be able to pass Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation
