Carpenter at Channel Control Merchants, LLC

Essential Functions:

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements and construct sturdy and safe customer friendly pieces.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material to match measurements
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Ability to safely and proficiently use power and hand tools
• Maintain equipment in a good working condition

Responsibilities :

• Assist in safety by following safety guidelines at all times
• Follow directions of lead carpenter
• Assist in other areas as directed by management
• Always wear proper personal protective equipment

Requirements

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75lbs Able to bend, kneel, squat, twist, push, pull and stand for long periods of time. Ability to climb ladders.
Working Conditions: Ability to work in heat, cold, damp and dry. Able to work around noise. Background check required

Salary Description

$15.00-$18.00 per hour
