Carpenter/Punch Out
JOB DESCRIPTION
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Brian Jackson
Review Date: October 2, 2024
Pay: $25.00 hourly
Summary/Objective
To perform miscellaneous carpenter duties and complete punch list on government, commercial, and municipal projects.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Perform final inspections and touch-ups on construction projects to ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
• Address and resolve any issues listed on the punch list, including minor repairs, adjustments, and finishing tasks.
• Install, repair, and maintain various carpentry components such as doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry.
• Conduct drywall repairs, including patching, sanding, and painting.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
• Maintain work equipment to perform tasks and transport equipment and materials to various job sites.

The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and walk. The employee must have the ability lift and/or move objects that weigh 10–75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. 1-2 years of construction knowledge, technical training, or certifications in carpentry or construction.
3. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Preferred Education and Experience
3 Years of Industry Experience as a carpenter or in a similar role
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
A current valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of how to hook up/connect and pull a trailer.
Clean driving record.
Must provide own tools.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Position requires employee to be able to obtain any/all security clearance as required for the job.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various tools and equipment such as saws, hammers, drills, and measuring instruments. This also includes the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all aspects of the construction meet the required quality standards.
