Case Management Assistant - Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.  If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.

Education:
High School Diploma – required
AND
Experience:
Two years of experience in a health care setting preferred. Computer literate, strong knowledge of medical terminology required.
 

Works under the direction of the Manager of Case Management and Case Manager RN to provide assistance with the utilization review process, including communicating clinical information/reviews to third party payers to ensure certification/approval of inpatient and post-hospital services. Assists with the coordination of post hospital care and service arrangements.

The hours for this position are: Monday- Friday 8 to 4:30; 1 weekend day shift every 4 weeks May need to float to other campuses. This position will primarily be out of Washington Township.
