About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Case Manager **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum years of experience not specified **License:** Must have active Washington license upon submission **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BCLS) required **Must-Have:** - Case management and discharge experience - Active Washington license or in-process with specified applied date and ETA - If previously employed by any affiliated facility, must be separated for a minimum of 3 months - Open to RN Care Manager or MSW Care Manager with a Master’s in social work and a Washington-issued post-MSW license **Job Description:** - Open to local candidates at travel rate - Travel experience preferred - Average daily census: 18-20 - Skills in acute hospital settings and experience with patients with communication problems - Familiarity with community programs for income and insurance - Knowledge of high-risk patient intervention and vulnerability safety risks - Awareness of cultural issues and standards of home health care - Conduct initial evaluations, develop plans of care, and coordinate care - Manage discharge planning, utilize InterQual and Milliman guidelines - Perform concurrent and retrospective reviews - Coordinate services, document information to facilitate care coordination - Participate in care conference activities and handle referrals - Regulatory knowledge: CMS, CPT coding and billing, HIPAA, ICD 10 Coding, OSHA, The Joint Commission - Charting experience: Epic, Cerner **Additional Information:** - Floating may be required within the scope of practice if needed - Two supervisory references covering one year of employment within a comparable specialty/setting required within the last three years - Non-billable modules expected to be completed pre-start and annually, average of 16 hours spent on modules - Forty hours of orientation provided
