WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Case manager is a non-exempt position responsible for coordinating family reunification services with family and/or qualified sponsors and assessing the needs of each unaccompanied child (UC) in care.
- Ensure trauma informed theory and brief therapeutic techniques are used to work with unaccompanied children entering the United States
- Complete intake interview upon admission and promptly identify needs; Prepare assessments and any related social and medical history report or forms as they pertain to the client's needs and case record.
- Establish relationship with the client.
- Identify, locate and make contact with the child's sponsor within the United States
- Identify services needed and make referrals accordingly.
- Coordinate service planning process.
- Ensure concise and timely completion of all paperwork or documentation including but not limited to administrative, clinical or caseload requirement.
- Safeguard the human and legal rights of the clients.
- Coordination of discharge planning including transporting unaccompanied minors to their destination within the United States and coordination of post-release service
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- $25.19 per hour, plus $.50 per hour for 4pm-12am schedule, $1.00 per hour for 12am-8am schedule, and $1.00 per hour for weekend schedule.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in the human services field and one (1) year experience working with children.
- Experience in a residential, child welfare or refugee setting, preferred.
- Bilingual skills required in clients spoken languages, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and or French
- Proof of Immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 dose), Influenza (1 dose yearly), Tdap (1 dose).
- Must have a valid drivers' license with auto insurance coverage.
