About the Job
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required in counseling, Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, College Student Personnel, or another related field. An equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be considered for substitution of educational preferences.
Minimum of three years of experience in wellness programming, case management, or a related area.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong counseling and crisis management skills.
Proven ability to identify problems or issues and deal with difficult or complex situations, analyze key information, determine implications, and facilitate solution.
Knowledge of the challenges, issues and concerns experienced by students of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Knowledge of wellness resources, health promotion strategies, and case management principles.
Proficiency in using technology for program management and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
A master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, College Student Personnel, or another related field is preferred.
Certification in wellness coaching, health education, or case management.
Experience in a higher education setting.
Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to student health, privacy, and Title IX discrimination
