About the Job
Maintains all cash files for assigned divisions by seeing that cash received / issued is accurately accounted for and posted to the appropriate accounts. Reconciles differences as they occur.

Will start training in office fulltime and possibly switch to Hybrid schedule.
Along with the skills mention below, for this position, the right candidate will have previous experience in cash handling, application and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:- Manages, logs and applies all cash receipts for assigned division(s),
- Reconciles daily bank and system accounts.
- Researches and analyzes any out-of-balance situation finding solutions within Standard Operating Procedures.
- Resolves application of unidentified cash by seeking root causes.
- Works with cross-functional teams, IT and banking partners to find solutions and when necessary, revises Standard Operating Procedures to minimize future unidentified or misapplied cash receipts.
Ensures that all internal controls are being followed for the assigned division(s)’ Cash
Application process. - Seeks guidance from management when complex, non-standard cash applications requests are made. Recommends acceptance or denials to management based on in-depth understanding of the customer and Coilplus’ risk tolerance.
- Working with leader, recommends and develops best practices, documents Standard
Operating Procedures and trains new and current cash application team members so
cash application is timely and accurate, Works with IT on account system, updating,
when necessary, by gathering business requirements, conducting user acceptance
testing implementing the revised or new cash systems. - Reaches out to customers resolving any unpaid invoices for assigned division(s)
wrapping in Division Sales Offices for assistance when necessary.

• Work authorization: United States (Required)
Experience & Education:
• An associate’s degree or its equivalent in accounting experience
• 3 years of cash application, cash management, accounting or finance experience is needed
• Cash application software experience also needed in a high volume / high transaction environment
• ERP platform of Stratix & AS400 experience required
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel using.pivot, hlookups & vlookups
tables.
