About the Job
The Cashier & Customer Service Associate position mainly focuses on various clerical duties and customer service working within our retail showroom office, including but not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service both on the phone and in person.
- Heavy phone work - answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls to customers for various reasons relating to the showroom business.
- Calling customers to confirm the status of their orders, delivery and product service.
- Operating and balancing computerized cash register.
- Data entry - using the Company's computerized point of sale system and various programs to assist in processing sales orders and customer inquiries.
Must be flexible with hours in order to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must also be able to perform a variety of general office activities in a fast paced team player environment.
- Candidate must posses excellent customer service skills in dealing with customers via phone and in person.
- Cashier and computer experience a plus.
Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
