Position Title: The Simple Greek Cashier
SUMMARY:
Providing the best hospitality possible as well as quality product to drive both a memorable experience and greater guest frequency
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
q Strong ability to create and maintain a distinctive The Simple Greek culture by providing exceptional service to our guests each time they visit
q Execute the restaurant's highest standards of hospitality, cleanliness and operational execution
q Demonstrate knowledge of the The Simple Greek brand and menu
q Communicate clearly and professionally with managers, staff and guests
q Prepare, cook, and serve our guests a high-quality product in a timely manner
q Interact with guests to provide quick, friendly, and accurate service
q Maintain compliance with all company, store, federal, state, and local policies, procedures, laws and ordinances as required (particularly with regards to food, health, and safety).
q Operate all machinery in accordance with The Simple Greek safety requirements and all applicable state and federal laws
q Follow The Simple Greek procedure to prepare recipes to The Simple Greek specification for excellent food quality
q Responsible of receiving orders as well as putting them away by rotating items properly to maintain the freshest products at all times. First in First Out.
q Compare invoice to the actual items that came in
q Communicate well with your team members in order to produce quality food with speed and accuracy.
q Open and close assembly line using line schematics
q Maintaining the quality of food as well as ensuring it’s visually appealing
q Keep the ordering tickets in order as they make their way down the assembly line.
q Ensure each station is ready for service during all shifts
q Ensure the food is stored and cooked at the right temperature
q Ensure adherence to THE SIMPLE Greek cash handling and payment procedures
q Adhere to Federal/state and local laws in addition to THE SIMPLE GREEKpolicy holds team members and managers accountable to these standards.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
q Perform all additional FOH/BOH functions including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, serving and greeting the guests
q Other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIRMENTS:
q Must be at least 18 years of age.
q Record of maintaining high standard in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and guest satisfaction.
q High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
q Passion for the business and compassion for people.
q Highly-Energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
q Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
q Basic business math and accounting skills, strong analytical / decision-making skills.
q Basic personal computer literacy.
q Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
q SERV Safe certified preferred.
