About the Job
We are always keeping an eye out for applicants who are friendly, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy serving guests. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally.
Job Summary:
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all
guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing
payments, and serving food or beverages to customers at the counter.
Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation
including preparing beverages and arranging/bagging food items.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of King Mediterrano.
- Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers.
- Take orders utilizing our Point of Sales system and handle payments accordingly.
- Be able to count coins and cash correctly and give out change due to the customer.
- Maintain lobby area tidy and clean.
- Bag prepared food with great care and ensure order accuracy.
- Replenish and reload certain condiments, utensils, napkins at serving stations.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the
- operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and
- efficient operations.

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
