Job Title: Cashier
Location: Petal and Poke
Job Overview: As a Cashier at Petal and Poke, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu items, and assist with order placements.
- Transaction Management: Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the POS system.
- Inventory Support: Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock.
- Cleanliness: Ensure the cashier area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
