Job Description:
- Cassandra installation and configuration.
- Add/bootstrap nodes to clusters.
- Remove/replace nodes in clusters
- Cluster and replication set up.
- Managing the full operational lifecycle of Cassandra databases including sizing, technology selection, deployment, monitoring & decommissioning.
- Conducting deep performance investigation & tuning for Cassandra.
- Application development using Cassandra as data storage.
- Migrating parts of data from Oracle, DB2 DB to Casandra schema.
- Using spark fetch data from DB2/Oracle and load into Casandra.
- Experience working with Casandra UDT (user Defined Data types).
- Casandra schema design, performance tuning, and CQL query experience.
- Should have working experience in Java/J2EE technology with expertise in Restful Java web services, java batch framework, Spring Frameworks, Spring Batches and Spring Security.
