Position Overview:
The Catering Coordinator supports the Sales and Brand Growth department in all on-going efforts related to: catering order planning, preparation, and delivery. This position will interact with multiple areas of the restaurant, guests, community organizations, and potential customers in an effort to create connections and pursue sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a guest-first mentality
- Upholds the culture and vision set out by the Owner and Executive Leadership
- Follow Chick-fil-A guidelines and procedures in all areas of the business
- Communicates clearly and with ample notice on catering needs to all parties involved
- Prepares catering bags for catering orders and assists with order completion as needed
- Assists with annual strategic planning for Sales and Brand Growth related events
- Helps to plan, prep, and execute catering events
- Assists with product and supply organization, cleaning, and prep (TMS bags, carts, catering prep area, offsite supplies)
- Oversees catering vehicle maintenance schedule and arranges service (tire rotation, oil changes, car wash, interior cleaning)
- Collaborates freely and with intention across departments to offer ideas and support
- Collaborate on and offer support on events that drive sales (i.e. spirit night, bingo, cow appreciation days, kid’s nights, etc.)
- Attends store and community meetings and events as required/needed
Assist when needed in operational execution and other initiatives deemed necessary
