We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Catering Event Operations Lead, being a front-line representative of our brand, leading + executing many events each year.

Duties may include:
- Event set up and delivery of pertinent equipment and products, may drive small van or box truck.
- Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through cohesive event execution + management.
- Supervising, motivating + directing staff during catering functions.
- Working with other managers and staff to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Scheduling as needed.
- Training and developing staff as required.
- You may be asked to assist the team with serving, bartending, and operations. You will need to be able to handle small parties, buffets, seated dinners, dining room set up, back of the house service, operations, concessions, as well as bar set-ups/service

- Physically able to meet the demands of a fast-paced setting.
Additional Requirements:
- Long periods of standing/walking.
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and reach frequently.
- Ability to frequently carry heavy trays. equipment and other items – often 30 lbs, sometimes 50lbs.
- Positive communication with guests using your effective listening skills and asking thoughtful questions.
- This position includes weekdays, weekend, and some holiday responsibilities
License/Certification:
- SERV safe certification preferred but not required.
- Tips certification preferred but not required.
- Some experience with catering software such as Caterease or Tripleseated preferred but not required.
- Driver's License required.
In 1989 when Andiamo opened its first Italian restaurant, the goal was simple – deliver fine Italian cuisine by using the freshest seasonal ingredients and prepare them from scratch each and every day. This goal set by the late Master Chef Aldo Ottaviani was achieved and as a result Andiamo exceeded all expectations, expanding to five metro Detroit locations.
