A premier leadership development organization and fast growing Chick-fil-A Franchised Operator (MKTA Corporation dba Chick-fil-A Macland Crossing) is looking for a Catering Leader. He/she must be a self-driven individual, yet willing to serve others through their influence. The person must be highly organized, and be responsible for growing catering sales for the organization, including processing, packaging and delivering orders to customers. He/she will also responsible for interfacing with other team members in the organization, influence actions of the team, and the overall reputation of the brand. We are recruiting for an operationally hands-on, results-oriented individual who desires to advance in the organization.
Requirements:
- Part-time to full-time hours. Must be available every day between 5am-11pm, including Saturdays.
- Work schedule will follow catering events. Mostly days, some evenings and Saturdays.
- Must be self-driven and motivated to grow the catering business.
- Must enjoy working with people - the public and team members. Related experience, in any industry; restaurant based experience is not necessarily preferred. Some of our successful leaders have come from various non-restaurant backgrounds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be willing to be hands-on in an operational role, serving side by side with other team members and leaders.
- Serve guests & team with enthusiasm, courtesy, and hospitality.
- Exhibit professionalism in every situation.
- Ability to multi-task with a self-motivated positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to respond well to leadership/authority and coaching.
- Must love to smile & connect with people, make eye contact & speak enthusiastically.
- Package food and beverage items and checks for product quality and consistency.
- Maintains cleanliness & organization in all areas of the restaurant.
- Prepare food orders for in-store and catering orders.
- Display a desire to grow and continuously improve him/herself.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50lbs.
- Model and support clear communications between the front and kitchen staff.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items, and stays well-informed of current promotions.
- Practices sanitation and safety procedures.
- Desire to grow business and personal skills while thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with Senior Leadership /Operator to fulfill business needs.
- Analytical and meticulous working style with a desire for self-growth.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize time.
