We are currently looking for catering staff for business events. Our events are typically 4-8 hours long, and are located in the 5 NYC boroughs.

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers food to restaurant/dining room patrons in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers food to restaurant/dining room patrons/customers.
• Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
• Interacts with customers in order to assure customer satisfaction.
• Interacts with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Completes side work as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

• Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
• Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
• Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
• Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
• Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations
• Handle various impromptu requests from customers

Requirements:

• Must be able to multitask in order to ensure customers get their orders promptly
• High degree of organizational skills to easily locate tables and bar patrons to fulfill everyone’s orders
• Excellent communication skills to ensure they meet customers’ requests.
• Be able to remain on their feet for several hours straight. Additionally, they should be able to carry about 35 pounds easily.
