Our state-of-the-art catheterization lab is equipped with advanced imaging technologies, and we are seeking dedicated full-time and part-time Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
As a Radiology Technologist in our cath lab, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures to assist our physicians in providing top-quality care to our patients. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring accurate imaging and supporting our team in achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to perform high-quality imaging studies in the cath lab.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by providing real-time imaging support.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Ensure all imaging equipment is properly calibrated and functioning according to safety standards.
- Review and analyze images to verify their quality and assist in the diagnosis.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results.
- Adhere to all organization policies, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- CA State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT)
- CPR Certification
- Strong Knowledge of imaging techniques, equipment and radiation safety practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
