CDL A Driver
We are seeking experienced CDL Drivers to join our client's rigging crew. This role is responsible for transporting equipment to customer sites and working with heavy equipment at customer plants and construction sites.Location: Near Lithonia, GA area (East Atlanta)
Position Type: Full time, direct hire with client
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40+ hours per week, local role
Responsibilities:
- Regularly hauls oversize and overweight loads
- Safely drives tractor and trailer rigs in compliance with DOT regulations to transport equipment and crews to job sites
- Ensures safe handling, securing, loading, and unloading of equipment
- Dismantles and stores rigging equipment after use
- Operates vehicles and mechanized equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor trailers, telehandlers, aerial boom lifts, etc.
- Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platform lifts, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of operating equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and mobile platform lifts
- Proficient in load securing and safe hauling practices
- Ability to use a tape measure, as well as hand, power, and pneumatic tools
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- At least two (2) years of CDL-level driving experience with vans and flatbeds, including experience with manual transmissions
- Minimum of one (1) year of industrial experience or equivalent experience within the construction service industry
