We are seeking an experienced OTR (Over-the-Road) Owner Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in route driving and will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country. This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable company and contribute to its success.
Duties:
- Drive a dry van, Flatbed, etc as a Owner Operator vehicle for long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Safely navigate through various road conditions and weather conditions.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Meet all requirements for commercial driving, including obtaining and maintaining a commercial driver's license.
- Deliver goods to customers on a timely basis, often under tight deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company safety and appearance standards.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an OTR driver, with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service.
- Must have your own sprinter or cargo van
- Must obtain your own insurance
- Must be able to stay over the road 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
- Must be at least 22 yrs of age
- Experience in the courier or delivery driver industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
