CDL Driver - Cornerstone Recruiting

Essential Job Functions *

• Maneuver a 53' trailer with a commercial vehicle on site and over the road, generally from Mathews Brothers' Belfast manufacturing facility to customers' locations

• Safely load and unload windows, doors and other items, properly securing all loads

• Perform routine fueling, lubricating and servicing of vehicle

• Maintain electronic log in accordance with DOT regulations

• Perform all pre & post-trip inspections of vehicle

Skills/Experience/Training Required

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

• Current Maine commercial driver's license

• General knowledge of laws and regulations governing commercial transport

• Ability to read and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, and apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
