CDL Driver Roll off Garbage Truck - Coastal Waste & Recycling, Inc.

The Roll Off (ROF) driver is responsible for transporting waste and mixed materials while operating a roll-off truck.

• Safely operate a roll-off truck along assigned routes to customers and disposal sites
• Safely deliver, transport and/or unload container with materials at designated locations/dump site
• Operate electronic devices to log/report information
• Communicate with dispatch personnel
• Report delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to management
• Secure the container in place before departure and monitoring its safe distribution throughout the trip
• Keep truck and associated equipment, clean, safe and in good working order
• Perform truck and container inspections pre and post trip
• Service customer container needs
• Safely operate all vehicle controls for lifting and loading
• Safely operate compacters to dispose of material
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Required education and experience

• Valid class B Commercial Drivers license
• Two years’ experience safely operating ROF truck

Preferred education and experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
• Waste industry experience

Work environment and hours

• • Shifts may vary Monday-Saturday
  • 40+ hours a week
  • Work sites with dust and debris
