Job Title: Supplier Relationship Manager
Location: Remote Work
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: Working hours are 8 hours/day, between 7 AM and 5 PM Mountain Standard Time, with the flexibility needed to support global operations.
Pay Range: $40.00 to $55.00
Job Description:
The Supplier Relationship Manager works closely with project, people, and functional leaders across Clinical Operations & Biometrics, Procurement, Legal, and Suppliers to ensure appropriate governance and oversight of company suppliers and maximizes the value obtained from partnerships with external providers of Clinical Trial Services at a study, program or supplier level.
This is a two-level job requiring a combination of advanced skills and experience in identifying, selecting, and managing external suppliers of Clinical Trial Services.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of outsourcing / external resourcing in support of Clinical Operations and Biomentrics (COBM) functions and sub-functions.
Effectively manages the relationships with key suppliers and represents the client at applicable levels within management teams/steering committees.
Develops overall COBM outsourcing strategy across functions.
Works with COBM leaders to identify and fully document outsourcing needs.
Works with Procurement and COBM Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify and select suppliers.
Works with Procurement, Supplier Quality Assurance, and SME to qualify.
Works with Clinical Contract Administration and Legal to establish Master Services Agreement (MSA) for as many suppliers as possible.
Establishes, monitors, and reports on Key Performance Indicators for applicable suppliers.
Ensures complete and accurate supplier information/records are maintained across applicable systems (e.g., Simple-Buy, CTMS, etc.)
Manages staff; provides staff with coaching, training, and opportunities to develop skills, and gives ongoing, constructive, and timely feedback on performance and progress toward goals and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Education Details in Business / Finance or industry related field.
7 years of relevant experience required in sponsor/vendor relationship experience within Diagnostics and/or Pharmaceutical industry is required.
4 years of specific RFI, RFP, Contracting and/or Budget management experience is preferred.
