In this role,theRisk Analyst actively engages with internal and external contacts to support treaty placement, administration, and governance. The individual will regularly handle day to day needs of treaty placements, supporting thebest execution of all phases of treaty placement processin accordance withcompany standards and compliance protocols and support special projects as assigned.
Primarily supporting the UK Senior Placements Lead andTreaty Manageras well as working collaboratively with otherCeded Re colleagues in US with placements and projects as assigned.
What will you do in this role?
Collating and supporting finalization of reinsurance submissions
Prepare and review decks for internal and external presentations.
Prepare schematics and treaty register post placement
Prepare standard analyses of statistical data using professional knowledge and excel workbook skills
Coordinate with internal resources in business units and Ceded Re to prepare responses to questions from internal stakeholders and external counterparties
Communicate with external business partners, brokers, and reinsurers as directed
Coordinate with internal and external resources to plan and support meetings and reinsurer audits
Executeappropriate compliancecontrols as needed with reinsurer audits, work with internal and external parties to resolve any technical issues that arise.
Assist with Reinsurance Security Analysis which involves confirming reinsurer approval status and preparing referrals to internal reinsurance security review committee asrequired
Support internal business controls compliance bymaintainingappropriate documentation(including but not limited tomaintainingshare drive up to date, complete placement checklist, NDAsfinalized, maintaining contract logs etc)
Participates on special projects asrequired
Ensure contract certainty through review of contract language andtimelydelivery of signed contracts

What you need to have:
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of general insurance and reinsurance
Strong communicationskills (verbal and written) with multiple stakeholders, internal and external.
Ability to analyse data and present results in a clear and concise manner asappropriate tothe audience
Strong independent,organisationaland time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Intellectual curiosity and interest to follow (re)insurance industry themes and emerging risks to support their own professional development

What we offer:
For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of$86,000- $100,000(NY).Yoursalary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors includingyour specificexperience and work location.
