Position Title: Administrative Assistant and Support Coordination (Military Activities)

U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) located at McDill AFB, Tampa, Florida has a unique joint staff planning need focused on integrating and synchronizing DoD military activities with United States Government (USG) strategy. These services include developing inputs to strategies, campaign plans, and concepts of operation that ultimately translate strategic and operational objectives into a series of related activities and operations to achieve desired end states in coordination with other DoD components, USG agencies, allies, coalition members and regional partners.

The Administrative Assistant provides plans and staff coordination services and administrative staff functions.

Location: U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Headquarters, MacDill AFB, Tampa Florida

Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI eligible

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support and coordination for J5-Plans divisions and all contract staff.
• Provides support on travel coordination and use of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
• Supports contract staff administrative Assists with ID card, security badge, and computer network requirements.
• Coordinates logistical support for daily activities as well as conferences and working Assists with scheduling of meeting rooms, conference rooms and external venues.
• Maintaining calendars, including daily calendars for key leaders, and assisting with short- and long-range calendars and other battle rhythm events.
• Assisting with facility and administrative support at other various locations as needed when requested by the Government.
• Serves as the alternate J5-Plans Task Management Tool (TMT) Disseminates, tracks, updates, and assists with identifying personnel to execute USCENTCOM, Joint Staff, and DoD taskings to J3, J5 and J4.
• Assists with daily reporting requirements; monitors/tracks evaluations; maintains personnel evaluations; Processes (in/out) division personnel; compiles and maintains supply inventory for government purchase card holders; assists with personnel and facility security management.
• Provides support to the Special Security Office and creating staff clearance validations/request and coordinate with other SSO POC's and update access files.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of military service.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Joint or Combined Command Headquarters.
• Effective understanding and use of the English language, to include clear, effective, and grammatically correct oral and written communication.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience and proficiency in using TMTs and DTS.
• High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prior USCENTCOM experience is preferred but not required.
• TS/SCI eligible clearance.
