- Job Summary
- Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and placing daily orders to ensure healthy stock levels are maintained.
- Analyzes inventory report daily for order rejections and coordinates with the Inventory Manager to source substitute products when needed.
- Analyzes historical usage and assists the Inventory Manager with creating and maintaining PAR levels for all products in Central Distribution.
- Verifies inventory counts in our internal tracking system by comparing them to our physical stock on hand counts and investigates discrepancies before making adjustments as needed.
- Participates in weekly cycle counts and annual inventory counts as needed to ensure that physical inventory counts are accurate and up to date.
- Assist clinical departments with inventory requests when needed.
- Assist the Inventory Manager with additional inventory tasks as needed.
- Ensures morning and afternoon deliveries are stocked in a timely manner to facilitate department ordering and maintain stock transparency.
- Verifies accuracy of packing slips and shipping labels to ensure that all products being received match the purchase order information in our ERP.
- Responsible for stocking, organizing, and maintaining all products in Central Distribution each day.
- Monitor and manage the critical item list to ensure that a sufficient amount of emergency stock is available when needed.
- Works with the Inventory Manager to monitor product recalls, including defective product checks and product returns.
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience
- 2-3 years of inventory experience preferred.
Previous Inventory Management experience preferred.
