Central Supply / Medical Records Clerk - Red Cliffs Health and Rehab

At this time, we are hiring a part time Central Supply/Medical Records Clerk. In this role, you will split time between the two departments as required. This is a 20- 24 hour position, flexible hours and days.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather and prepare patient charts and documents
• Ensure that medical records are organized, accurate, and complete
• Create digital copies of paperwork
• Safeguard patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
• Plan and direct the procurement of supplies as required
• Maintain a reference of procurement procedures
• Oversee supply deliveries and ensure supplies are delivered/stocked throughout the facility as needed
• Organize storage areas, keep them clean & tidy
• Assist department heads with developing supply budgets

What do we require from you?

• High School diploma
• Preferred Experience:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • One year of Medical Records experience
  • One year of healthcare related Central Supply experience
• Extraordinary attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork
• Strong Microsoft Office experience / skills
• Demonstrable working knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations
